Hi, I'm Brian

I'm the photographer behind Landwash Studios in Hunter River. I moved to Prince Edward Island in 2018 and started the business here.

It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words. If those words tell a story, then I agree.

My story begins with one of my earliest memories, my Mother's Kodak Brownie. I can still feel the texture of the box, hear the click of the shutter, see her carefully loading the spool of film. Thus began a love affair that has remained with me all my life. A voice that has whispered in my ear through a varied career.

Like so many stories mine has taken a few twists and turns along the way, but has now returned to the path that, looking back, seems so clear to me now.

I've been involved in community theatre for a long time too, and landscapes are still my favourite thing to photograph.
